Messages deleted on a BlackBerry are not deleted on Outlook as well. They appear as being read but remain in the inbox. This is a problem with BlackBerry syncing properly with an Outlook account even days later.
Solution
Adjust the synch settings on the BlackBerry
Go into Messages (Email)
Select Options > Email Reconciliation
Change the Delete On option to Mailbox & Handheld
Verify that the Wireless Reconcile option is set to On
Verify that the On Conflicts option is set to Mailbox Wins
